About this event
The next outing for the hiking interest group will be on the Coast from the Pacifica
Pier to Mori Point.
This will start at 10 am on Tuesday, April 21. There is a city parking lot close to the pier and spots are often available on nearby streets.
The trail is partially paved and level along the beach with views of the ocean and a golf course. We may see migrating whales.
The walk becomes a dirt trail and rises to the point which had considerable numbers of wildflowers last week before all the rain. Indian paintbrush, clarkia, poppies, goldfields, tidytips, and lupines were all represented.
Bring hats and water bottles as there is no shade.
